@alterisco

Alterisco is a brand of accessories that encourages women to be bold and be whatever they want to be, with a zero-f*cks given personality.

Designed by and for empowered women, Alterisco has been created with the aim of launching a message of independence to the female world, encouraging a break of established patterns, and promoting one's personal definition of happiness.

As a project manager, I was involved in the selection process of suppliers for photography, packaging, web oversight, and logistics services, in addition to the management of the brand in social media and customer service alongside an amazing team.

Brand design

The logo aims to disrupt the established brands in the sector, break the polished and delicate look and feel in the jewelry category, and go for a bolder typographic solution that challenges users to go by their own standards.

The bright and bold colors of the brand we're selected to capture attention and disrupt from pinks, or classic black in the category. Alterisco makes bold statements that capture attention through it's colors, inviting users to join by their own standards.

Naming

ALTERISCO: From the word asterisk (*)
Used to indicate an annotation, a footnote, a certain "ungrammatical" construction, or etymological information or comments.

ALTER: Of Latin origin, it means "other".
To see things from another perspective; to give another meaning to things.

Packaging design

The packaging experience was designed from scratch, with the objective of creating an elevated shopping experience for a product that belongs to a saturated market.

The packaging includes a plastic pouch to store the jewelry, which comes with stickers that reflect the personality of the brand, and invite the user to be part of the Alterisco lifestyle.

Web design

We wanted to give the web a branded look that would complement the concept, therefore we went above and beyond to program our own Shopify template with a provider, based on the wireframes and UI designed on Figma.
